This seems as if your drifting into my traditional fantasy art. Youve kept that graphic style but the pose and arrangement is a little more 'portrait'. Its an effective departure i feel... it looks like an illustration for a xmas card or game. The colours work very well- especially the strawberry blonde hair (thats been captured very well). The only thing im not too sure of is the brooch and how the hand lies next to that... i cant seem to figure out the perspective. Is the brooch central, or to one side? Is the hand resting against her right shoulder or are they both supposed to be central, but just resting next to each other? I also like how the background has those pinky flesh tones in it as they really reflect the other colours present.

Thanks for sharing with everyone.

Art Cards Editions and Originals. Basically art trading cards, generally sold by the original artist. They're a trend in the art collector's market these days.

I think I was thinking of the hand slightly to the other side of the brooch, but this was one of those pics that went from sketch to finished really fast, so it's probably just a mistake.. ;) But this is one of my favorite pieces to date - after drawing it I just wanted to sit and look at it for hours. (Not very productive!)
